Sliding Scale Policy For Relationship Counseling:
I do not offer sliding scale for Relationship Counseling. Maintaining strong and healthy relationships takes considerable work and investment in the therapeutic process. To better serve my clients who are dedicated to doing this work, I require relational services to be paid in full.
The Therapy Process:
I believe the root of a successful relationship begins with openness, honesty, and compassion. Whether you are in a new relationship, getting ready to commit to long-term partnership, or are in need of a tune-up, I guide partners in the exploration of each other's personal preferences, attachment styles, encouraging vulnerability, and introducing new tools for communicating, drawing boundaries, problem-solving, and conflict resolution. I utilize a variety of models, including Attachment Theory and Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), as well as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) to explore multiple areas of identity and help each member explore the depth of their partner's being. I specialize in serving interracial relationships, POC relationships, queer partnerships, poly/open partnerships, and relationships considering opening up.
