Sliding Scale Policy
To make my services accessible to a wider variety of clients, I offer a limited amount of sliding scale spots, prioritized for clients who demonstrate social and financial need. Sliding scale spaces are usually full, but you are welcome to inquire.
The Therapy Process
I combine several therapeutic modalities in my approach to individual psychotherapy, including; psychodynamic therapy, which explores unconscious motivations and inclinations, family systems theory, person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychoeducation, personality theory, attachment theory, and mindfulness.
Success within individual therapy depends greatly on the working relationship between client and therapist. I aim to guide the client in an exploration of the situations and themes impacting their daily functioning, imparting new skills and perspectives for approaching life. I apply mindfulness practices in an accessible way, with an emphasis on present-centered awareness and self-regulation.
