How Groups Work

As part of my mission to provide mental health counseling to a broad population of clients, I offer several groups designed to address acute needs of specific populations. Prices vary depending on groups and populations served. Individual group members are expected to commit to attending weekly sessions, as the success of the group is dependent on group member's attendance, participation, and confidentiality. Group members are selected based on group dynamics and availability.

I welcome you to a safe and respectful place in which to explore your blindspots as you deepen your understanding as a person of privilege. This group seeks to provide support for white womxn wishing to contribute positively to marginalized communitites. 

As a queer therapist of color, I offer an intercetional perspective to

issues of diversity, power, and

privilege.

Duration: Ongoing

Date and Time: Thursdays from 7:15 - 9:15

For White Allies (Womxn, age 18+)

Cost: Minimum: $50 session/week

Fees collected for this group will be used to support the fees for low-rate sliding scale clients.

Tuesday Night Tea

For women of color, queer women, nonbinary/agender/gender nonconforming people, asexual, differently abled, indigenous women, immigrants and non US citizens. 

After over a year of lockdown, dealing with social isolation, political and social unrest, financial strain, and mounting death tolls due to COVID-19, there is a growing need for space in which to connect with others dealing with multiple areas of marginalization.

Join a cohort of similarly identified individuals with the goals of building community, hearing each other's stories, offering mutual support, sharing self-care and survival tactics, and having a safe, confidential space in which to be your full self.
